In the heart of the Davenport subdivision at Hotham, nestled amongst the snow gums, beside the Great Alpine road, you'll find our Lodge. Within 2 minutes walk of ski hire, lift tickets, restaurants and bars- you couldn't wish for a better location.

TRAPDOOR Named "Best value accommodation" in the 2005 Skiwatch awards!

Well all our guests know it anyway, but it is nice to get some recognition. Trapdoor has been named "best value accommodation" at Hotham in the 2005 Skiwatch awards. Skiwatch is a ski column published six days a week in Sydney's highest selling daily newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, and edited by well-known snow sports and travel writer Arthur Stanley.

Skiwatch operatives, including a former leading restaurateur, were out and about this season and came up with the a list of awards for the Australian ski industry (All Skiwatch awards) :
