High Chairs: There is a stand up high chair and a table attach high chair located in each side of the lodge in the broom cupboards
Porta cots: one is available in each bedroom
Table Tennis: There is a table tennis table, bats and balls in the basement of Section B for your use.
Board Games: There is a limited selection of board games and playing cards available for use.
Books: Trapdoor has a selection of novels and magazines in the Section A and B lounge room book cases. You are welcome to read these and return to the book cases when you leave.
Bath: Located upstairs n the common bathroom in Section B, and available for everyone in the lodge to use.
Stereo System: Each lounge room has stereo system available for use, we also have inputs for your Smartphone/MP3 player (iPod etc). Please consider others when playing music at night, especially when people are sleeping.
Open Fires: Section A has a traditional open fire and Section B has a slow combustion fire place. Wood and kindling are stored in the Basement wood stores, axes and splitters are also on hand if needed. Paper and Fire lighters are stored under the hearth in Section A and in the cupboard under the fax in Section B to assist in lighting the fire.
Washing Machine: There is a washing machine in the basement of Section A. The drying room may be used to effectively dry clothes and sheets.
Snow Clearing / Car Rescue: At both entrances, we have a few shovels for you to dig the stairs out after a snow storm or assist to getting your car back on the road.
Drying Rooms: There are two drying rooms at Trapdoor for guests to dry out their ski gear including boots, jackets, ski pants etc.
Ski Storage: there is a designated ski/board storage area near each lodge entrance.
Workshop: There is a workshop downstairs with an adhoc stock or tools and equipment for you to adjust your skis or snowboard.
Provisions: Trapdoor stocks a number of provisions for your use and convenience. A full list is available in the “Provisions” page. It is intended that Trapdoors supplies will add to your menu rather than you preparing your menu from our pantries.
